This movie is about a very serious illness that have killed thousands babies in the world. Dr. Alfred Blalock is a surgeon. He researched about shock therapy that killed the thousands babies. Vivien Thomas is a poor carpenter. He was senior high school graduated and really wanted to continue his study to university and be a doctor, but he did not have enough money.
One day he worked in man’s house to repair the house’s floor. His work was so great and the man likes it. Then, on another day the man offered to work as a doctor assistant. The doctor was Dr. Alfred Blalock. After interviewing, Dr. Blalock introduced the specific work to Vivien and he said he could do it. On the next day, he found the bank that saved his money was failed. The bank could not return the money. It was so hard for him to accept, because the money would use for continuing her study, but he could only work as Dr. Blalock assistant.
Dr. Blalock was offered a big risk job that there was no doctor braved to take it, but Dr. Blalock was. It was about “blue babies” illness, infant suffering from a congenital heart defect that causes them to turn blue as they slowly suffocate.

Vivien got his job again. He worked as a teacher for the medical students. Dr. Blalock got older and older. Finally he passed away. Vivien became a great teacher and he got a noble be a doctor. He got his professional dream came true unexpectedly.

He kept trying even the others always felt his spirit down, and finally, he achieved what he thought. Also with Vivien, he always tried to do his best, even he knew that going to college need much money, but The Lord took him on another way reach his dream without going to college. Lastly, he got his dream came true, he became a doctor from an unexpected way. God will always help us; even we do not realize that. Where there is a will, there is a way.
